Thanks for the script first off. I like it.

One suggestion so far (I no bupkis about scripting so take it with a grain of salt):

You get the turns per move by calling and then parsing/stripping information from the ship catalog... or so it seems. Wouldn't it be easier to pull that from the 'ship information' (I) feed? The reason I suggest getting it that way if you can is that when admins use non-standard ships, they don't always update the description. If that process is automated, then something in custom ship games can cause it to error on line 189 [turnsused = turnsused + tpw].

This was the output from the error:
Rexx         189 +++ turnsused = turnsused + tpw
Rexx       Error 41 running "C:\Program Files\SWATH\ZOC\explorer.zrx", line 189: Bad arithmetic conversion
Error       [explorer] Error: [R3] Script error (-1) - See SWATH console

I was in an imperial starship when I got that error. Let me know if you need any more information on it.

Once I went in and edited the 'tpw' variable and hard coded a 4, the script worked just fine.

Thanks for the feedback.  Not sure why you're getting the error unless maybe you weren't at the command prompt when you started the script.  Guess I'll need to add a check for that for the next release.  As far as TPW value - I don't think there is any difference whether (i) is used or (c;) is used - they both should get the value straight from the ship type record.  However if anyone finds a case where they are not, please let me know.

Using the 'I' is more accurate, as if the user has a ship locked in Tow, the 'I' command factors in the new TPW. The C; does not. 

Also. Using 'I' would indicate if you're in an Unlim or not --in which case being concerned about TPW would be moot.

Good point - I'll update that for the next release.  I never thought of that since I don't normally explore the universe with a ship in tow lol.
